Emphasizing Common Core State Standards
Angie is a licensed high school math teacher with a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education who tutors students who want to improve in math! She has an upbeat and encouraging personality and relates well to students. Angie helps students understand their school courses and helps them with homework and/or test preparation. She has both tutoring and curriculum development experience with all high school topics.

- Learn key concepts in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and other high school mathematics courses
- Review critical content from prior grades such as ratios, percents, and integers
- Organize and record their work effectively
- Improve skills needed to attack word problems
- Memorize important definitions and formulas
Many students bring along the textbook and/or handouts for their current school course to get extra help or practice on the current concepts. Other students practice with SAT and ACT questions related to their school topics.
