About Common Core State Standards (CCSS)

More than 40 states, including Ohio, worked together in 2009-2010 to create new educational standards for mathematics and reading, called Common Core State Standards. The goal was to create standards that will lead students to be more competitive with top-performing students in other countries.

Ohio will be implementing these standards in the coming years. Angie's Tutoring is implementing them now.
